Getting to the hotel:
By plane - International flights
The closest international airport is Copenhagen Kastrup (Denmark). There is direct train connect from the arrival terminal (Terminal 3) at Copenhagen Kastrup Aiport to Båstad. The train takes around 1 hour 40 minutes and train tickets can be bought at the train station in airport arrival terminal. For details on train timetables etc. see section below “By train”.
By plane - National flights
Take the Båstad exit from the E6 and follow road 115 to Båstad. At the square, turn right to the marina (signed to Hotel Skansen). GPS coordinates 56,43509863 / 12,8394688. There is free parking at the hotel and the marina in the winter. There is also a garage for SEK 125 per day. In the summer you can collect a ticket from the reception desk for free parking in the marina, places limited. Remember the Båstad is popular in the summers and spaces close to the hotel are quickly occupied.

There is bus connection from the train station to Hotel Skansen. When you arrive Båstad station, go to bus stop right outside of the station to take bus number 501. Please present your train ticket to the chauffeur for the complimentary ride. The bus leaves 5 min after each train's arrival at the station. Get off at Båstad Torget (the last stop of the route). Hotel Skansen is 250 meters from the stop.

The conference secretariat, The Meeting Planners, will be able to issue invitation letter on behalf of EWM 2019 if it is required for visa application purpose. The invitation letter will be issued in email format and sent electronically (by email). Please note that invitation letters will only be prepared for the fully pre-paid registrations. In case the visa is declined, the paid registration fee will be refunded (less an administration fee SEK250) if a proof of the denial is provided.
